Opening Day Postponed to March 23

The wet weather we have had over the past few weeks has resulted in poor field conditions and limited practice time so far for our baseball teams. Because of this, the MPPB Board has decided to postpone the start of baseball games and opening day to Saturday, March 23.

The game schedule will be released in the upcoming weeks. We will have a 10 game regular season schedule played out over nine weeks, with two more games played during our postseason tournament the week of May 20-25. The majority of the games will be played on Saturdays, with 1-4 games scheduled during the week, depending on the division. Unlike before, we will have games scheduled on April 20. We hope that this new schedule will allow teams more practice time before games begin.
